The first phase launched with an immersive training course, igniting discussions and exchanges on the interconnectedness of European Citizenship, Human Rights, Democracy, and Intercultural Learning.

Local "Homework" Phase

Then came the local "Homework" phase – an interval for participants to apply their newfound knowledge. Here, they ventured into their respective communities, bridging theory with practice. This hands-on experience allowed them to witness firsthand the complexities of 'being a citizen' within their unique cultural contexts.

Final Training Course

The final training course was about experiences, insights, and transformations. Once again, Esch-sur-Alzette became the nexus for further exploration, reflection, and the consolidation of learnings gained throughout the project's journey.

Empowerment of Youth Workers

To empower youth workers/organizations/educators to implement projects aiming to exemplify connection between European Citizenship, Human Rights/HRE, Democracy and Intercultural learning and underlying values.

To develop awareness and attitudes of youth in Luxembourg and Partner/Programme countries for dealing with the complexity of the idea and practice of "being a citizen".
